Sparkle - February 21, 2026

On February 21, 2026, Achievement Centers for Children (ACC) will host its signature fundraising event, Sparkle, at Windows on the River. This fun, classy casual event will bring together 350 guests for a memorable night featuring a cocktail hour, dinner, exclusive silent and live auctions, and live music.

A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Agency’s Champions for Achievers Award to Higley Construction and former Board member Amy Brady. The award recognizes both honorees’ generous and long-standing support of ACC’s mission to empower children and adults with disabilities to achieve their greatest potential, as well as their dedication to the broader Northeast Ohio community.

The event will also include the presentation of ACC’s inaugural Acorn Award to long-time agency advocate Karen Sorace Thomas.  The award, which will be named in her honor, celebrates an individual/family whose tenacity, influence, and personal/professional commitment have led to meaningful changes in how our community embraces individuals with disabilities.

ACC empowers children and adults with disabilities to achieve their greatest potential through holistic and family-focused services. Last year we served nearly 3,600 children and adults with disabilities.

Your support of this signature event will help ensure that no individual’s future is compromised by their family’s inability to absorb the enormous cost that can come with raising a loved one with disabilities. With your help, the 2026 event will be a wonderful night of celebration focused on meeting the needs of those we are so privileged to serve.
