Sparkle: Bourbon and Blues - April 22, 2023

On April 22, 2023, Achievement Centers for Children will be hosting a NEW and exciting fundraising event, Sparkle: Bourbon & Blues at the InterContinental Cleveland. This smart casual event begins at 6 pm and will feature bourbon tasting, dinner, super silent auction and a concert performance by Cleveland's own Colin Dussault's Blues Project.

Achievement Centers for Children empowers children and adults with disabilities to achieve their greatest potential by providing comprehensive and innovative programs and services. Last year we served more than 3,200 children and adults with disabilities. Sparkle: Bourbon & Blues will generate significant revenue for Achievement Centers for Children. Over 83% of the event’s proceeds goes directly to the programs and services of the Achievement Centers.

Your support of Sparkle: Bourbon & Blues will help ensure that no child’s future is compromised by their parents’ inability to absorb the enormous cost that can come with raising a child with disabilities. With your help, we can make the 2023 event a night of celebration supporting Achievement Centers for Children to meet the needs of children and adults with disabilities and their families throughout our community.

About Us

Founded in 1940, the Achievement Centers for Children serves children, teens and adults with a broad range of disabilities and special needs including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other physical, developmental, neurological and emotional challenges. Our unique, comprehensive service model blends together education and autism services, family support, occupational, speech and physical therapies, and recreation, camp and sports programs to meet the needs of the entire family, and provide the best outcomes and achievements.

Last year the Achievement Centers for Children provided services to over 3,200 individuals at our three locations (Highland Hills, Westlake, and Camp Cheerful in Strongsville), and in childcare centers, schools and homes throughout the community. We provide many of our programs regardless of the family's ability to pay.

83% of every contributed dollars goes directly to providing critical services to those most in need.
